Shingled solar panels can generate higher power per square meter compared to traditional panels because they no longer require the cross-module busbars, allowing for more efficient use of the available surface area. This means that more solar cells are exposed to sunlight, producing more energy. 

As a result, shingled panels achieve higher power density in a smaller space since they don't use multiple busbars (MBB) or soldering strips like traditional panels. Additionally, it is expected that the power performance of shingled solar panels to be 15% better than traditional solar panel
